Ihana, by Joanna Laajisto, wins a NYCxDesign Award!

Marset is very excited to announce that we’ve won a NYCxDesign Award for the Ihana, designed by Joanna Laajisto. This is the 10th year of the award, a global design competition organized by Interior Design Magazine that celebrates outstanding talent across major areas of design such as architecture, interiors, furnishings, lighting, and technology. The delivery of these awards marks the kick off of the tenth annual NYCxDESIGN Festival, a meeting that unites the entire design community of New York City.

The Ihana collection is a design that can be used to create compositions of light. This is made possible by a modular structure that can be extended to include up to 14 LEDs per fixture, available in numerous lengths to accommodate spaces with various ceiling heights. In addition, the Ihana features dim-to-warm technology, which allows one to regulate not only the intensity of the light, but also its color temperature, which can vary from a warm white (3000K) to an ultra-warm white, simulating candle light (2200K).
