Lighting Project in Albarracin restaurant created with Marset Lamps, designed by Classico45 Interiorismo, photos by Olga Planas.

The interior design studio, classico45, based in Zaragoza (Spain), has been tasked with modernising the Albarracín restaurant, located in the centre of Zaragoza. The restaurant has a 30+ year history and a renowned, high-quality cuisine. The work focused on remodelling the existing space to bring it into the 21st century, while also taking into account how the restaurant’s cooking combines tradition with new and cutting-edge proposals.

Classico45 opted to use natural, local materials, accompanied with warm lighting that has helped to create very cosy spaces.

The lighting was an essential part of this project, and the main lamp chosen was Marset’s Ginger model, designed by Joan Gaspar, a piece made of pressed oak wood with a concave metallic module housing the lamp, which gives off an indirect light that helps to define the personality of the space. Different versions of the Ginger lamp have been used: suspension, table, wall and suspended with an arm.
